The Leicestershire Tennis Festival and Senior County Championships

1. Visit the Leicestershire Tennis Festival and Senior County Closed page on the LTA Competitions website https://competitions.lta.org.uk/tournaments.
2. Select the events you are interested in by adding them to the basket
3. View your basket which will ask you to Login
4. Login to your British Tennis Membership account (if you don't have one use the Sign-up Today button and / or see our FAQ on that!)
5. Enter your name and the names of your partners
6. If your partner is not already listed in the dropdown box use the Add player button and find your partner (it helps if you know their BTM number in advance)
7. Proceed to Checkout and pay
8. You will then receive a confirmatory email and that's it!

If you know you have forgotten your Username or Password click the appropriate link on the Login page (just below the Login button).

If you have never had a username & password then click the Create a login button, enter your email address, date of birth and BTM number and you will be able to create the necessary account. It is free to do so!

No - however you will need one before you can enter the tournament.

Speak to the Tournament Ambassador at your club or your club coach for further help if you need it.

If you play for one of the clubs in Leicestershire it is likely that there is a Tournament Ambassador at your club. Ask around and someone will tell you who it is or speak to your club coach who will point you in the right direction.

• that you haven't played county tennis for another county in the last 12 months AND
• that your place of birth or permanent residence at date of birth was in Leicestershire OR
• your place of permanent residence has, for at least one year immediately preceding the competition, been in Leicestershire OR
• at any time your place of residence has for a period of five consecutive years been in such area
• Note: A County boundary is defined as that which applies for the purposes of local government (not necessarily as defined by postcode)

Yes, you can ask for a limited time off when completing your entry form. Please see the extract of rules below covering what is permitted.

Requests which come in during the tournament may not be granted.

We try to accommodate everyone's wishes but we are not always able to do so. Sometimes what may seem like a perfectly reasonable request is rejected because the scheduling is complex and circumstances dictate.

No requests for time off for Finals Weekend will be accepted. If you aren't available for finals weekend we would love to have you enter the tournament but would expect you to withdraw at match point up (if it reaches that point) in the last match you are available to play- allowing your opponents to go through.

The rules state:

10. All competitors, without exception, are advised to restrict their entries to four events,
reducing to three events if requesting ‘Leave of Absence’ for any period between Saturday 28th
July to Monday 30th July inclusive. Both individual competitors and partners within doubles’
pairings may not apply to have consecutive days without a match.

• 4 or more events – No absence
• 3 events – Half Sat or Sun or 1 evening absence
• 2 events – Sat or Sun or 2 evening absence
• 1 event – Full weekend or 3 evening absence

• 'oh dear, they are better than us' is replaced with 'they might struggle to beat us with that handicap if we play well'

• 'we should have this in the bag' is replaced with 'better be careful a couple of points going against us and we could struggle here'
