Hi, I am Steve Stroud from LFETC and have enjoyed playing the Tournament over many decades with it often being everyone’s highlight of the year to catch up with friends across the county. Although I still actively play in a number of events and I am not behind the desk I try to reach out to a wide range of clubs and players to grow the entry so it remains the biggest and best Festival of Tennis by far.

Please don’t hesitate to participate as you’ll always be welcome!

Hello. I’m Peter and I have been on the committee for more than 5 years and I consider it to be a privilege to be part of this team. I am a keen tennis player and play for  Carisbrooke LTC, for more than 20 years and seemingly cannon fodder for the upcoming  youngsters! I started playing at 40 after ferrying my two sons across the  county and decided that playing was more fun than watching.

My main pleasure from tennis is watching and playing against the youngsters and seeing how this great game can help them develop  into not just a good tennis player but also mature adults with good life values.

Hello All,

I’m John Bryson. I joined the Tournament Committee in 2019 and I handle the press side of affairs. Aside from playing, my background in tennis is umpiring. I’ve been retired many years from that side of the game, but I always found this was the best county event I officiated at. Seeing the work done by many behind the scenes these days, my view is still the same.
